We landed in Geneva a few days ago and our time so far has been beyond wonderful.  Africa was a great experience, but only upon leaving, did we realize that we had always been on edge during our travels, expecting something unusual around the corner.  Stepping into Switzerland, we have entered more familiar surroundings which has been rejuvenating.  

We are staying with our dearest friends Chris and Sue and are treasuring every moment.  We have been missing them continually since they moved away 3 years ago. Today, Jon and I leave to do a short European road trip starting in Venice and ending back in Geneva with other good friends Owen and Sharon.  

As I am writing this, the amazing circumstances of meeting friends and traveling across the world are not lost on me.  

We are nearing the end of our first leg of this journey as we go home in less than 2 weeks for some very very important weddings.  As a result, our postings may be less frequent so we apologize.  See you soon!
