The problem with a blog is that there is always a lag behind where we are currently and it never captures what is going on in the moment.   I guess I could technically start twittering witty one liners here and there.  But I actually like crafting these pieces and as a result, it takes some time.

We are currently in Cambodia which is our landscape for a total of about 2.5 weeks.  We have been in Phnom Penh for the past week helping out at school.  On Monday, we will be accompanying the kids on a 3 day outing to Cambodia’s southern coastal beach town, Sihanoukville.  After that, we’ll be heading to Siem Reap to see the famous temples of Angkor Wat.  Finally, after a few more days in Phnom Penh, we will be making our way to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to consume copious amounts of pho.

Coming to Cambodia has brought a completely new wave of thoughts and feelings.  One of the main feelings being how incredibly hot it is here.  But more on that later.
