update

We arrived in HK on Friday and things have been a bit of a whirlwind.  Firstly, we have no internet.  We’ve been getting free wireless everywhere we’ve been, now we come to HK and our hotel only has cable internet and we have to pay.  Oh, the irony.

Regardless, we’ve been trying to process our two weeks in India, and it is has been near impossible because of all that HK is.  Jon is attending an investor conference and we’ve also been meeting with friends and family from both sides.  Eating and walking have filled our lives and we haven’t had a chance to just sit and reflect.

We will be leaving for Tokyo tomorrow for a short trip and I am excited to have raw fish meet my lips again.  But again, this wreaks a bit of havoc on our processing time.

I suppose our next blog will come in about a week or two.  So we are just keeping those keeners (aka. my dad who keeps harassing me) in the know.  Also we want to apologize for not replying to emails during this time due to our limited access.  We promise to catch up!  Thanks for keeping in touch with us - we treasure them all.

Oh, and my dad is hilarious.  My father has always been nervous whenever we have gone to “questionable” areas where we could experience some more “challenges”, as any father would be.  Recently, however, it appears he has had a change of heart.  The other day we spoke on the phone and he said,

“I am glad you are enjoying hong kong.. but don’t get so used to the cushy life..” or something like that.

I guess I can never win.
